Select New Ship To From List

All ship to's must   have a ship to number. You will no longer be able to type in an address.  If you need to add a new ship to for a customer, please place the ship to information in the Order Text with a request for set up. This will help expidite the process for future orders as you will only need to select the appropriate ship to from the list and it will populate the address field.

The modifications were made to assist you through the order entry process as well as guarantee the integrity of the data flowing through our systems.

Please make sure when entering orders to use the ship-to numbers already established instead of typing in an address.  We've just completed a massive undertaking to update our Customer Master and Ship To files.  They must be entered in a special format to enable a seemless flow of data between OSCS and other business partners.  If you do not see an address listed, please contact our Order Management Team in customer service who can add for you. Please remember that PO Boxes should never appear in a Ship To address file.   Thank you for helping us maintain the integrity of this data.

 

    IMPORTANT NOTICE 

To ensure that your requests to customer service are expedited, please do not send sample requests, RGA's requests, credits etc to individual CSRs.   Samples should be sent to order_entry@ oatey.com and RGA's and other credit requests should be sent to Research@oatey.com.  This will ensure that more than one person can view your request in the event an individual CSR is out of the office.

Hot Rush Orders 

Due to an increase in the number of hot rush orders we are receiving please make sure that an order meets the criteria below:

HR order type is the exception not the rule! please follow the guidelines below.  HR orders are coded in red in the web for greater visability to our order editors.  You will receive a confirmation as soon as the order is pulled through and sent to shipping.  It is not necessary to call customer service unless you do not receive a confirmation.  The cut off time for freight orders to ship same day is 11:30am est.  UPS and FedEx is 3pm est. 

The Hot rush order conditions  for same-day shipment in most cases are:

  • Order is 5 line items or less
  • Inventory location has been verified
  • Credit releases the order
  • The order is received in Customer Service before 2:00 Cleveland time.  The earlier, the better.
  • Carrier restrictions on hazmat may require alternate routing. 
  • Contact customer service for assistance if necessary to ensure customer needs are met.  It may not be possible to change an order once it has been released to the DC under the HR order conditions

 

SPECIAL REQUESTED PRICING - MULTIPLE WAREHOUSES 

Please make sure when entering special pricing on orders that the system price matches or the special pricing note is in the text before entering the order. Contact the Pricing Department to get the price entered on the system or notes placed in customer text.  Order Mangement personnel cannot process orders until the pricing matches.  ORDERS WILL BE PLACED ON HOLD.

Also, if you are requesting products to ship from various warehouses an additional order or orders must be entered.  Only one warehouse can be designated on an order.

 

    Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut  Order Entry Alert!

Effective immediately, new orders for cements, primers and cleaners shipping to the 3 states listed above must be LoVoc.   Please advise customers the law states only LoVoc products are permitted after 1/1/09.  Offer Oatey or Hercules LoVoc as alternates. B.T. Feron 12-3-08

 

Obsolete items:  a #3 after the item description means the item is out of stock,  and no more orders will be accepted.   A #1 after the description means orders will be accepted until inventory is gone.
